New Year 2019

Our dogs are not afraid of big noises. New Year and it's rockets - they just don't care. So for us it is just a one day among the others. Except this year. This year I was a little concern.

Peggy, Lennu and Pulla are in heat. Yes - all three at the same time. Patu isn't neutered. I could so change my life with someone for a week... So I was afraid that Patu is so messed up that he would react to the noise. Maybe he would be scared for the first time in his life and that would make him panic. I went out with him and Tino and of course right away a very loud bang! The only one that got scared was me 😂 Patu was just like: girls, girls, where are all the girls????????

So now I have taken all dogs out and they didn't even give an eye for the rockets and the noise. We are happily home and watching the rockets from the window.

Year 2019 will be full of surprises as new years always will. We have three older dogs - we might have lot of tears next year. Or we might have happy days with our pack. We will see and I certainly hope that you will travel with us.

So many dogs - why????

People always ask why do you have so many dogs????  I know it is crazy and hard to explain. Sometimes we wonder that ourselves...  But!

They are so cute.

They love you - no matter how you look.

 They will be your navigator.

They will enjoy your company.

They will help you in everything.

They will have fun with you.

They just make you happy 😍


                                                                         

Gentle leos and lonely rider Tino

Tino loves his own privacy. He wants to sleep alone and he doesn't want other dogs to touch his precious body 😂 He likes to be close to us but when someone of the dogs wants to sleep on the same sofa when his majesty is there - I'm so sure that his growl has curses in it. And after cursing he goes to his mancave. And what do our leos think - they don't care, they don't even notice. I suppose they just think that it's only Tino. 😁

But leos think that the closer the better. Here you can see what it means in ordinary life. Cute - isn't it?

Lazy leos

Leos are dogs that love to sleep cozily on the sofa and they don't stress. They are never in a hurry.

Here is Tytsy. Every night when we went to sleep we wanted to close our office room's door so that she won't destroy anything while we sleep. She had fallen asleep already and was so tired that she just reached out her forelegs so that my husband could pull her out of the room.

And our super lazy Patu. He had been with me at work and it was time to go home. He didn't want to leave 😂😂

Of course we could just tell them to get up and obey but they are so sweet and funny. So in these situations we didn't do so.

Tino

Tino is our black sheep. He is the guardian in the house and takes his job very seriously.

Tino was born in Germany. His favorite place in the world is our vestibule. It is his sanctuary. If someone has gone to his vestibule he runs to me and whines desperately. So I have no other choice then command the other dog away from there. Then Tino is happy again.

Tino thinks that it is his job to watch the house. He is going to be ten years old in the summer and he behaves like a young dog. And he has only small amount of grey in his nose - you would never guess his age. He can still accelerate from zero to one hundred in one second - Mr. Trouble himself 😅

Peggy

Our granny and Mother Teresa - Peggy the Sweetheart

Peggy was born in Germany. When she was young she destroyed our apartment quite badly. She was so wild and happy teenage.

I have never seen Peggy to get angry or lose her temper. She is the kindest dog in the whole world. I have heard her barking only two times during the years 😄

Peggy adores food. You can't open the fridge without her sitting next to you. No matter how deep her sleep is she will be there to help you choose what to eat. Snow is the other thing that she loves. Every time when we get the first snow she goes crazy. She just dives and rolls in the snow - with a big, happy smile on her face.

Lennu

Lennu is goofy and a thief. And loves her family over the top.

Lennu came to us when she was three years old. She had changed home twice before us and she was over 10kg underweight. So because of that she steals food whenever it is possible and her love is sometimes more than a lot. She has only on or off buttons 😂

Lennu is called the ear specialist in our house. She LOVES to clean other's ears. Sometimes so much that we have to deny her 😄She is just so goofy and funny.

Patu

Patu is THE man in the house and yet mummy's little boy.

Patu was born in Germany. He is very calm and to be honest - quite lazy. He "talks" a lot and especially in the evening after dinner. Then he will start "talking" to my husband and demand him to go for a walk. He is a slave of his habits - the same routine every evening 😂

If he is sleeping (almost always on my way) and you want him to move. Don't bother to ask he won't even open an eye. It is much easier just pull him and move aside that way. He don't mind - he will keep on sleeping.

Patu is very friendly but he has certain rules. If he is sleeping in front of the water bowl other dogs are not allowed to go and drink. He thinks he is the king and other dogs are his descendants. If we buy them new toys, he will take them first. Destroys them and after that the others can keep the rest. So a little bit of an asshole sometimes 😆

Pulla

Pulla is the sweetest dog in the universe.

Pulla is from Peggy's first litter and Patu is her father. Pulla means bun in Finnish and she got her name because she was so hefty when she was only few weeks old. There were only three puppies so there was milk more than enough.

Pulla loves to be close to people. She sleeps in our bed and the best place in the world is between me and my husband. It doesn't matter how hot she get - she sleeps with us. And if you try get more room in the night and you try to push her aside - she won't even open here eyes. When someone pets her it's a heaven - no matter who pets her. That's why the kids in our neighborhood call her a "hugdog".

Yet - despite of being a sweetheart she has shown that if we need a protector, she can be one. She can read people and behave according the situation. She is a diamond.

When Peggy had her second litter Pulla was the best nanny ever. She was always with the puppies and taking care of them. And still Tytsy is under her protection. If someone of the dogs is commanding Tytsy, Pulla runs immediately between them and pulls the other one aside. Tytsy is her apple of the eye.

Tytsy

Tytsy is our youngest, wildest and also the smartest.

Tytsy was born in Austria where we lived 1,5 years and she is from Peggy's second litter. We were not planning to keep any of the puppies but in the end there were five males and only one female looking just like Peggy - so what other choice did we have??? She stayed for sure 😂

She knows how to open kitchen cupboards, she has eaten three sofas and so many other things when she was younger. She is a little Monkey but so, so sweet little Monkey.

To avoid damages in our house she is with us whenever it is possible. She loves to be in a car. She is always ready for a walk - no matter if it is raining or shining. Wrestling with Pulla is one of her favorite thing to do. They just love each other.
